Yes, we’re well aware of the more awful things that Alex Jones has said, especially about Sandy Hook, but a red light went off when we saw CNN’s Oliver Darcy saying that the media should get more credit than it was getting for compelling tech platforms including Facebook, Apple, Google, Spotify, YouTube, YouPorn (really), and even Pinterest to ban Alex Jones and InfoWars — and it looks like an email from Mashable was all it took to get Pinterest to fall in line…

As you know, social media sites have been actively working to remove Alex Jones and Infowars from their platforms. However, even though that’s in the works, Democrat Sen. Chris Murphy of Connecticut says there’s much more to be done:
