This video – included in part one of a two-part webinar series on oral healthcare – demonstrates a systematic approach to performing an efficient oral examination to support HRSA, HAB’s Integrating Oral Health Care in HIV Primary Care Settings: A Guide to Oral Health Care for People Living with HIV/AIDS curriculum. The curriculum is designed to assist primary care providers with the information they need to recognize and manage oral health and disease for people living with HIV/AIDS. The curriculum has five chapters: oral health and oral screening; oral diseases; dental emergencies; dental management and patient education.
