Remember when you were a kid and you would throw rocks into a pond just to see what would happen? I remember being amazed as rocks skipped across the water as if they had wings after a simple sideways throw. It often became a contest with a friend, Jimmy, to see who could get the most skips in. And then the back and forth banter about who had the most skips. (A little skip counted, too!)
