These films would speak to modern-day medical practitioners, comparing their work to that which took place in the Old Operating Theatre of the Old St Thomas&#8217; Hospital. Our hope is to encourage young people to consider a career related to medicine, to showcase the range of roles involved in medicine today, and to highlight how medicine has changed over the last two hundred years. <\/p>\n<p>In this second film, we will meet Dr Flora Smyth Zahra who is a restorative dentist with a background in dentistry.
