Clear aligners|Mithran Dental |Chennai |Adyar |Dr Jayalakshmi
Hello, I am Dr, Jayalakshmi from Mithran Dental Adyar.
In this post, I would share my thoughts on ‘clear aligners’, which is an extension of my #You Tube video, which presents in a symbolic and capsule form of the benefits and limitations of wearing ‘clear aligners’, which you can watch by clicking the link below:

If an orthodontic correction of your teeth is warranted but while at the same time, the possibility of wearing ‘metallic apparatus’ bothers you, then there exists an ideal solution in the form of ‘clear aligners’.
In effect, clear aligners are a procedure that permits the movement of teeth with the use of a series of custom made transparent material. The unique attribute of this is that it is ‘invisible’. Since they are designed with the application of high-technology 3D computer science and the trays are made exclusively to suit your mouth, they are aesthetic as well.
By virtue of the fact they are smooth, clear aligners do not irritate the ‘mucus membrane’, which is a main source of discomfort in conventional orthodontic system. Yet another advantage is, the trays are removable in nature.
The length of the treatment would vary from ‘person to person’ depending upon the condition of their teeth and the extent of work that needs to be carried out.
For the above reason, a thorough examination of the oral condition of your teeth would have to be done. This will enable your dentist to chalk out a detailed plan of treatment, starting with impression and moving to further steps as fabrication of trays.
As the treatment continues, you would notice the progress that would eventually enable you to beam with ‘smile’ that you cherish.
I would be happy to be take part in your journey to progressive and positive dental health that would get you the smile you love.
